BTE Student Stories
In its final quarter, the Bridge to Employment program in Bangkok, Thailand, celebrated a huge milestone by awarding 15 of its students with a Bridge to Employment Scholarship!
BTE Bangkok recognized its students’ achievements with a scholarship presentation ceremony on December 2nd, 2024. Johnson & Johnson Thailand’s Commercial Director for Innovative Medicine, Khun Supisa Tewapitakporn, as well as other J&J leaders were present to celebrate this special moment along with students and their families.
In light of their efforts and accomplishments, students were also presented with certificates of achievement.
Students also had the opportunity to engage in career development workshops and mentorship sessions aimed at encouraging leadership, fostering academic growth, and reflecting on personal aspirations to succeed in the future.
Prior to their final quarter activities and celebrations, BTE Bangkok teamed up with Johnson & Johnson volunteers for a special community project where students got to make stretching bands for elderly homes in Phitsanulok. In collaboration with the main public hospital and with support from dedicated volunteers, students participated in a very hands-on workshop where they produced an impressive 88 stretching bands in only two hours! These were then donated to elderly homes across the province. This activity not only allowed students to put their skills to the test, but it was also crucial in showing students just how much of an impact they can have in their communities. All throughout its lifecycle, BTE Bangkok has continued to strengthen its mission of equipping youth with the necessary tools and confidence to succeed in their post-secondary education journeys.
Congratulations to our BTE Bangkok graduates and best of luck for your next steps!
